Made the trip to Mississauga to have the SQR-2 installed this past weekend. What a great bunch of people to deal with! Jack the store manager and Ray the installer were absolute gentlemen and treated my wife and I like long time customers. Jack even gave us his vehicle so that we could head off and do some shopping while they installed the system and a free flow cat as well.

Now to the good stuff…. the sound, the performance, and the look!!

This system has all three in spades!!

Couple of early observations…. redline comes faster than ever, no hesitation from gear to gear, and gas mileage appears to have improved. Last but not least is the sound, we drove it 2 hours on the highway home and it was comfortable inside to talk or listen to the radio. But when you want it to sound off just step on the gas and enjoy!

On my latest fill-up the kilometers to empty on a full tank has increased. Need a bit more time to see the real fuel savings.

This is truly a well engineered system delivered by a first class group of people.

Well I finally received my SQR-2 dual tip center exhaust and could not wait to install. The install went well with the instructions supplied. The only difficulty I had was installing the rear facia but it was my fault. I only removed the outer facia and did not remove the hard backing that was held on by four bolts which is why I toiled for a few hours wondering why it was not fitting. Once that was out of the way the exhaust was a breeze.

Also, I do want to say that the Solo Performance staff was excellent and always willing to take the extra step during the process. I want to commend Jeff, Dave and all for the personal touch you’ve given and for the excellent product you provide. I further want to let all that are reading this that when I received a call from Jeff that my order was being shipped, he also told me that I would be receiving a refund because after he made all of his calculations for expenses and such, he came up with a lower figure then he originally quoted and charged. I find this news rather refreshing in that I know there are companies out there that would just have kept quite and kept the money. Now I know some of you out there will be saying well that is what they should have done. You’re right but again this is not a perfect world and if you tell me you have never been stung by a business or company ever, then I must say you are in denial. So again I will say my hats off to the folks at Solo Performance. And NO, I do not work for them or am not receiving anything for this post.

Now Jeff, my only negative feedback with your system is that you never warned me of the possibility that I may be selling my Monsoon stereo because I now enjoy the sound of my exhaust system rather than listening to the stereo. In all seriousness, the exhaust has a nice sound to it and is not loud at all but when you give gas, wow it really accelerates quicker and with with a nice tone. Thanks Solo.
