Description

As with all of our products, we have spent a lot of time, energy and testing on our free catalytic converter. Our CATs are a full stainless steel converter. The externals are a polished stainless steel with laser cut stainless flanges and the internals are a stainless wound 200 cell coil converter. We are able to keep the engine light off with our converter, we decided to go with a 5″ internal wound coil. Most manufactures of this type of converter only make it 3″ or 3½” long.

We chose the substantially more expensive 5″ internals for a few reasons:
1. The more substance inside the better it cleans the exhaust gasses.
2. The 5″ coil lasts longer than the 3″ as there is more contact area for the gasses to hit.
3. The sound quality is much better. It’s a softer, less harsh, exhaust note with the 5″ coil.
4. This particular manufacturer makes this unit to last. Each individual coil is tack welded.
