2010 – Present Camaro V8 Standard
Solo Performance is proud to introduce high flow catalytic converters for the LS3 Camaro. They are a full stainless steel catalytic converter assembly. The Solo-Cats are made from a stainless steel 200 cell converter body that is rated up to 6.0L per side. That’s 12.0 combined liters of pollution reducing materials packed into the two Solo catalytic converters. They come with all the necessary hardware and O2 extenders for a turn key product that keeps your Cel light off. These super high flow converters unleash your Camaro in both performance and sound.
Listen to the videos below and you will see what I am talking about. Pair them with our Mach-X cat-back exhaust and the sound is incredible!

Ok guys, picked up the car from my mechanic on Friday and was really anxious to hear and feel what the new hiflow cats from SOLO could do. Let me say that I believe that SOLO has an amazing product here. I had no idea what an improvement in sound and power this would be! Turned the ignition over, and WOW!!! The new sound was unbelievable. The car already sounded pretty good with the K&N CAI, 3″ Competition Magnaflow cat-back and the Doug Thorley shorty headers. But man, did the car wake up! The car just sounds sinister now. It’s definitely louder, and I told my mechanic Tommy that it sounds like he put a bigger cam in the car! and he agreed. the sound at idle is awesome. A few revs up to around 2500 rpm and you couldn’t wipe the grin off my face. So I took it for a short test drive and ran it through the rpm range. AWESOME! Such a smooth, throaty, ‘big block’ sound. Absolutely loved it. The car turned heads before, now it’s really going to turn heads. People will want to know what’s under the hood it sounds so good. Later I had 2 people at the gas station asked what was done to the car because it sounded so good (and loud). I drove it on the interstate and didn’t really seem to increase the drone any. At idle and up through around 4000 rpm is where you really notice the sound difference. You can feel the power difference as well, quicker response on the throttle throughout the gears. Can’t wait to get it on the dyno! There’s no crackling or gurgling, no “what the hell was that” sounds. There were no leaks, no issues with the o2 sensors, and so far, NO CEL. He said it was an easy, quick install (<2 hours), no problems at all, everything fit where it should.
One thing I noticed that I really liked was the cats seem to actually tone down the decel popping, it doesn’t pop at as high of a pitch, the pitch is much lower now, so I was really digging that.
I’m headed to a cruise-in today and there will be a few other forum members there that can hear the car in person, so I’ll let them be the judges too!!
I think the sound will even continue to improve with a few hundred miles. Hats off to SOLO for an outstanding product. Great job guys, you put a big ‘ol smile on my face with this one! hopefully that CEL will stay off.

topgun1, I knew you’d get a thrill with the sound of these cats along with your free flowing setup! My face looks like the Joker’s from Batman, can’t wipe the smile off! People say the same thing about mine, they think it’s been heavily modified! It really sounds like a serious race car when you get on it! Congrats and enjoy!

Just finished installing mine. Went very smooth. Took me about 3 hours. But I am also very anal retentive. So, I take my time and try to make it a learning experience and productive at the same time. I would also suggest installing the upper O2 sensors prior to installation on the car. I don’t know what tool you would need to tighten them on the car. But, I don’t have it. I lubed and loosened and lubed the O2′s and upper nuts last night, to make it easier to remove, since I’ve seen that alot of people have been having problems with this.
I have a stock exhaust and I think I’m gonna leave it for now and put my car mod money into coilovers. At least for now. It sounds WAAAAAY better than stock. I haven’t driven it yet. Getting ready to clean up and go for a ride though.
I’ll try and post pix and video tonight.
By the way. anybody know how to post video on here?
OH YEAH!! BUY THESE THINGS!!! THEY ROCK!

I just got done installing my solo high flow cats. This was not an easy task for me even with daddys toolbox. Steve, Don, and Jeff were really cool and walked me through all of the difficulties. I did not have any problems removing the o2 sensors but I did need an impact gun with a 1/2 exstension to crack loose the manifold to cat bolts. All in all after the hours of labor that should have taken me at most an hour, I am happy. Very happy. I went for a test drive to the car wash. After about 2500 rpm instant gains were felt. The cars tires were almost breaking loose from the power around 4300 rpm with traction control and 3500 miles on my tires. Lol.
YOU CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE IN POWER BOYS!! Go get a set. SOLO knows what they are doing!!! As far as the sound with my borla kit, definitely more aggressive. By far the best bolt on I have purchased…

I own the L99 Camaro SS Solo prototyped their Hi-flow Cat / Mach X exhaust on. (Mississauga location) Ray and Jeff are class acts. I have to say I love it. I had resonators put on because the wife will also be driving it.
It was still LOUD, but over the last week it has mellowed out beautifully. Nice and quiet while on cruise control on the highway (120km/h, <2,000 rpm). You can barely hear the exhaust, but put the pedal down and you get a very nice low growl.
Starting it up also emits a ’400 HP V8′ watch out sound. It brings a smile to my face every time. On full acceleration when the gears change (2-3?) you get thrown back into your seat. I could also swear the tires slip a little trying to keep the power on the ground.
I hope to get it dyno’ed soon to see the approx. HP gains. Thanks SOLO!

Ran mine all over town and back and forth to work. No problems and no codes. Everyone says it sounds awesome!!! I think I’m gonna start charging for demos…
